What counts as a "tune"?
A tune session is one end-to-end pass through the guided road-tune wizard — driving the prescribed conditions, getting AI-proposed cell-level corrections, reviewing them, and writing the ones you accept (with rollback if anything looks off). Looking at your live telemetry doesn't count. Reading tables doesn't count. Only an actual writing-changes-to-the-ECU session counts as a tune. Remote Support sessions are separate from Driveway Hero and Pro Installer.
Is Driveway Hero a subscription?
Yes — $299 to start, then $19/mo. The $299 gets your car dialed in: unlimited tunes on one vehicle through the guided road-tune wizard. The $19/mo keeps Tuneless watching the engine afterward — reading it every time you connect, tracking how it drifts across seasons and miles, keeping your Trust Score history, and keeping Jules on tap. Cancel the monthly any time.
What does the $19/mo include?
The ongoing monitoring that used to be sold separately as Driveway Watch — now part of Driveway Hero. Every time you connect, Tuneless reads the engine, tracks how it drifts across seasons and mileage, keeps your Trust Score history, and keeps Jules available to answer questions about how it's actually behaving. It also keeps the guided wizard and ECU writes available, so you can re-tune whenever the build changes. Cancel any time; you keep every snapshot you've made.
What happens if I cancel the $19/mo?
Your account drops to Free: you keep live telemetry and read-only INSPECT diagnostics, and every tune snapshot you've made stays downloadable. What stops is writing to the ECU, the guided wizard, the ongoing monitoring, and asking Jules. Resubscribe any time to pick back up where you left off.
Do tunes expire?
No. Driveway Hero includes unlimited tunes on your vehicle for as long as you're subscribed — tune it as many times as the build needs. Professional Installer is unlimited too; the only monthly limit there is how many distinct vehicles you tune.
Why is Driveway Hero locked to one vehicle?
Because a tune that's right for one car is wrong for another. Pricing per-vehicle lines up with how the work actually maps to a build — engine, cam, injectors, the rest. Pros doing many cars pay for Professional Installer, which is designed for that.
What are the limits on Professional Installer?
Tune sessions are unlimited — tune the same car twenty times in a week if that's what the build needs, and nothing counts down. The only limit is distinct vehicles: up to 10 per calendar month. A vehicle counts once no matter how many times you tune it, and the counter resets at each billing cycle. If you regularly need more than 10 vehicles a month, talk to us about Builder / OEM pricing — that's what it's for.
Can I switch between Driveway Hero and Professional Installer?
Yes. Your Driveway Hero vehicle and its tune history carry over if you upgrade to Pro Installer (we apply it to the first vehicle you log under the shop plan). Downgrades just stop the monthly renewal — vehicles you tuned that month keep their tune history.
Can I get a refund?
Driveway Hero has a 14-day satisfaction window — if you haven't used any tunes and you can't get it working, email us for a full refund on the $299. The $19/mo can be cancelled any time and
stops at the end of the period you've paid for. Professional Installer has a 7-day free trial; after that, monthly billing follows standard SaaS rules. See our

What happens to my data if I stop using it?
Your account stays on the Free tier. Vehicle profiles, tune snapshots, and session history remain available for export indefinitely. We don't delete your tune history just because you stopped buying. See our
