We sell two paid products with different refund rules:
Beyond those rules, if something is genuinely broken or we mis-sold you a feature, email us and we'll make it right.
Driveway Hero is a single $99 purchase that unlocks 5 tune sessions on one vehicle. It does not auto-renew.
Refund rules:
When you start the Professional Installer subscription, your card is authorized but not charged. You have 7 days to evaluate. We send a reminder email on day 5. If you cancel before day 8, you pay nothing.
If you do not cancel, your card is charged on day 8 at $149 and your subscription renews monthly on that anniversary.
The subscription renews every month. You may cancel any time from your account page or via the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid access until then, including any vehicles already added that month. We do not pro-rate cancellations of monthly plans.
Overages (additional vehicles beyond the 5 included) are billed monthly with the base fee. Once an overage vehicle has been added and a tune session is used on it, that overage charge is non-refundable for the month.
Example: you start the month with $149. You add a 6th vehicle on the 10th ($20 overage queued). On the 15th you cancel. The 6th vehicle had at least one tune session used — your final invoice is $149 + $20 = $169 and you retain access for the rest of the month.
Regardless of the product-specific rules above, we will refund the most recent payment, in full, if:

We do not provide refunds for:
If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer instead of contacting us first, we may suspend your account pending resolution and dispute the chargeback with Stripe. We'd much rather just talk first — email us and we'll usually settle in 24-48 hours.
If we terminate your account for violation of the Acceptable Use provisions, we do not refund the unused portion of your subscription. If we terminate without cause (e.g., we shut the Service down), we refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. Processing time varies by card issuer (typically 5-10 business days). We refund in the original currency of the transaction.
